Professional Achievements

In 2014 I was the recipient of the New Hampshire World Language teacher by the NH Department of Education.

In 2015 I was conferred the New Hampshire Excellence in Education Award.

Then in 2019 I won a Diversity Scholarship from 12 x 12 Picture Book Challenge.

I’ve participated in and won several writing contests (Honorable Mentions, most recently an Honorable Mention on Vivian Kirkfield’s #50preciouswords contest).

In December, 2023 I won an Honorable Mention in the 2023 Susanna Leonard Hill Holiday Writing Contest in the category of Educational Elements.

 I am also one of Kirkfield’s diversity judges for her #50preciouswords contest. I have been a judge for this contest three times.

In Susanna Leonard Hill’s recent 2025 Valentiny Writing Contest, I won third prize.
